The Moscow Metro was one of the USSR's most ambitious architectural projects. With their reflective marble walls, high ceilings and grand chandeliers, many Moscow Metro stations have been likened to an "artificial underground sun".
LISTVAYANKA
Small fisheman settlement not far from Irkutsk. In there located Baikal Museum, observation platform by chairlift. Visit fish market and St. Nicolas church.
OLKHON ISLAND
Is the third-largest lake island in the world. It is by far the largest island in Lake Baikal in eastern Siberia, with an area of 730 km2

The Moscow Kremlin is a fortified complex in the center of Moscow. It is the best known of the kremlins (Russian citadels), and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers.
Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan)
One of the nine holy places of Asia. Shamanic cave was the most revered holy place on the lake, for which shaman people made sacrifices and vows since their first appearance.

One of the largest cities in Siberia. Irkutsk is situated in a landscape of rolling hills within the thick taiga that is typical in Eastern Siberia.

Ice is a BIG reason to travel to Lake Baikal! Lake Baikal is the deepest and largest lake in the world, with the purest water. It only freezes completely in late February and then begins to melt at the end of March. The ice thickness varies everywhere, from half a meter to several meters. The most picturesque ice is on and around Olkhon Island.

During the day, the sun shines brightly and, in the evening, after sunset, the ice cools down sharply and begins to make sounds, as if it is about to open up. But the ice is quite strong and durable, which is why locals have no qualms moving across it by cars (and even take tourists on rides!)
Flight from Delhi to Moscow. Guided tour of the Kremlin. Visit to St. Basil cathedral (Exterior), Red Square, Gum mall, Zaryadye Park. Visit to Historical Metro Tour. Dinner and overnight in Moscow.
day 1: DELHI – MOSCOW
Flight from Moscow to Irkutsk. Irkutsk city tour - foundation part with Churches and Eternal Flame. Overnight in Irkutsk hotel.
day 2: MOSCOW – IRKUTSK
Transfer to Listvayanka (70 km), on the way visit Taltsy wooden architecture museum. In the afternoon visit to Baikal Museum, observation platform by chairlift. Visit fish market and St. Nicolas church. Overnight in Listvayanka.
day 3: LISTVAYANKA
After breakfast meeting with guide and taking hovercraft to Olkhon island (240 km). Lunch on the way. Photographing stop on the way. Arrival in Olkhon island in the evening. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight in hotel.
day 4: OLKHON ISLAND
Departure by Russian military jeeps UAZ to explore northern part of Olkhon island (about 45 km) - including Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan), Lion and Crocodile small islands, three brother stone and cape Khoboy. Picnic lunch (with fish soup). In the evening return to the village for dinner and overnight in hotel.
day 5: OLKHON ISLAND
Drive back to Irkutsk by UAZ and then by bus (300 km). On the way back visit Ust- Orda village, visit local museum including Buryat Folklore performance and cooking master class. Upon arrival in the afternoon to Irkutsk free time in city centre. Gala Dinner with Russian traditional folklore performance. Overnight in hotel.
day 6: IRKUTSK
Breakfast in the hotel. Checkout. Transfer to Irkutsk airport. Flight from Irkutsk to Moscow. Dinner and overnight in Moscow.
day 7: IRKUTSK – MOSCOW
Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from hotel. Visit to Christ the Savior Cathedral. Lunch at restaurant. Proceed to Arbat street. Transfer to Moscow airport. Arrival at airport.
day 8: MOSCOW
Flight from Moscow to Delhi airport. Flight back to Mumbai/Pune.
day 9: MOSCOW – DELHI – MUMBAI/PUNE
